There has been so much back and forth going on with the topic. The last I heard is that having an exact match keyword for your domain gives you a little boost in the search engines. I heard that you should always pick a Top Level Domain Name. (.com, .org, .net) Has anyone heard of this information or care to give their insight on this.

Very good strategy on choosing a good domain name. I use to register longwinded domain name, and ended up confusing myself, let alone my readers who are trying to remember my site URL. Although if your site traffic is almost entirely generated online, use of a few hyphens may be okay as long as it is easier to recognize and available then the non-hypenated version.

Nice post how to choose a domain name , Finding a great domain is really tough and i prefer to choose a domain that have a keyword in it and have 2 words only.

I prefer godaddy and namecheap if you are looking to buy a new domain because they are the best domain provider and really cheap when you have coupon

is it true that dot com is better in ranking position than dot info?
