If you decide to be a professional blogger, you must do research and planning before you write your blog post. Good and interesting blog posts will draw people attention. Basically, you need to put values in your blog content to benefit your readers.
Some key points to write a good blog post are:
- Use number and interesting phrases in your title. For example: 7 tips or how to.
- Break your blog post into small paragraphs such as introduction, body and conclusion.
- Use relevant images to add color for your blog if it is necessary.
- Use keywords in the title and content. You can use 1 to 3 keywords for every 100 words.
- Include other variety such as headings, sub headings, bold, italics, color fonts, bullets or list points if you need to.
- Write 200 words or more per post. If you can write more, please do so. Search engine don’t like either a very short blog post or a very long blog post.
Practice will make perfect. I experienced this myself. Inculcate habit of writing good blog posts will benefit you because you will emulate the traits of professional blogger. You will get used to do research on keywords prior to writing your blog post. Your writing skill will improve and your writing style reflects your personality eventually.
